Hello, I’m Karen and I was fortunate enough to join Creswick Pre-School Team of ladies in January 2014 and was given Orange Group to look after.
I have been blessed with three children, James – 24, Amy Jess – 21 and Steven – 15. I have also been fortunate enough to be married to my best mate, Chris, for the last twenty four years, ‘Happy Days’, well certainly a good few!!
My passion with life lies within extended family and friends who are all outstanding and inspirational in their own ways. I also have acquired a reminder of an old desire and passion for the great outdoors, I believe everyone should spend more time outside, experiencing all weathers and an array of free activities that build vital life skills and allow us to realise that the simple, easy times are really all we need! Possibly where my role of Forest Fun Lead comes into play.
My best friend, who I have known since our first day at Primary School, a few years ago, recently said to me – ‘If I had a superpower it would be to manage TIME’.
Time is something we rarely manage well; I have made it an essential part of my life to always be busy. We could all do this by ensuring you are happy, stay social, keep communicating, think positive be positive and allow yourself time to stop, sit and soak up everything wonderful that you have around you, as Bing would sing – ‘When I’m worried and I can’t sleep, I count my blessings instead of sheep!’.
